Cashew Process:

There are stages involved before thecashew kernel is produced and the first stage is roasting of raw cashew nuts to a particular temperature to make the shell brittle and the roasted nuts will be passed onto shelling process to separate the cashew kernel from the shell. De-shelled kernels will be further sent to borma process to peel the husk from cashew for grading.  In grading the product is classified as per the grading system and further packed as per specifications of customers in a vaccumised packing for sustaining the quality / shelf life of the product for further export.

The majority of countries include United States of America, Australia, Germany, The Netherlands, United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Israel, France, Japan, Korea and Thailand.

CNSL Process:

The cashew shell are fed into the expellers through screw conveyor, feed bucket elevator and distribution conveyor. The distribution conveyor distributes the prepared cashew shell evenly to the expeller feed hoppers for a continuous uniform feed. The expeller expels the oil and it is collected and transferred through a screw conveyor to the oil and foots tank. From the oil and foots tank the extracted oil is transferred to the settling tanks where the oil is allowed to settle for 72 hours. The clear oil is then taken to the reaction vessels which have been provided with stream jackets for heating the oil. Depending on the consumer requirement the oil is heated by stream to a temperature of 130 degrees centigrade to 160 degree centigrade. During the heating the moisture gets evaporated and fine sledge is gets deposited. The oil is then allowed for 3 hours standing in the reaction vessel and then transferred to the storage tank.
